How do I book?

Choose an available Saturday arrival, send the enquiry form, and Tim will confirm availability directly. No online payment is taken on the website.

What deposit is needed?

The Terms & Conditions set out the booking deposit, balance payment, tourist tax and security deposit details. Tim confirms availability and payment details directly before a booking is completed.

When is the balance due?

The balance payment timing is set out in the Terms & Conditions. Tim confirms the full payment details directly once availability has been checked.

What are the arrival and departure times?

Weekly stays usually run from 4 pm Saturday arrival to 10 am Saturday departure.

Do guests receive directions?

Yes. After a booking is confirmed, Tim sends the Booking Form. Nearer to departure, he sends the Operating Guide, arrival details and local and tourist information for the stay.

Which airport should we use?

Bergerac is the closest airport (30 minutes by car) and then Bordeaux (1 1/4 hour by car), where pre-booked hire cars are available.

Do you welcome European guests?

Yes. The gite welcomes enquiries from guests travelling from the UK, Germany, the Netherlands/Holland, Belgium, France and elsewhere in Europe. The European guest guide brings the main travel and booking links together.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed. The property is also non-smoking.

Is there a pool?

There is a public pool in the village that is open in July and August (am and pm). Payment is on arrival and a book of tickets may be purchased. There are also freshwater lakes in the area where you may also swim.
